One thing that I've always hated are the cheap headsets that accompany every ipod sold. It just doesn't make sense that Apple sells such a great mp3 player, but sends cheesy headsets with it. Granted they are the most recognized headsets throughout the land. But if you're looking for more than the 'I'm cool cuz I have an ipod' look, there are better sounding headsets. Shure has the absolute best sounding headsets out there, but spending more for headsets than what I paid for the player is not what I had in mind.

Striking a balance between beauty and bass, the 'vibe' by Vmoda is one headset that steps up. It comes in a few colors but black and silver are my cup of tea. And at $99.99 it beats some of the more pricey noise cancelling sets out there.
