Apple Octo-Core

For all of you Mac lovers out there!!!

Apple has unveiled their new 8-core beast. The 'octo-core Mac pro' that has 8-cores of Intel processing power spread across 2 of Intel's latest 'Clovertown' quad-core chips.

It is listed as running 3GHz and should be available now at a reasonable price of $4000.00

Editing pictures has never been faster!!!

Only $4000? Honestly... For something that's a brand new technology for the masses, that isn't a bad price.

I of course can't afford that. LOL

Thankfully I don't need to get Red out of anybodys eyes in my pictures. ;)

Supposedly, Apple is the only company selling with this Intel 3GHz chip.

Yeah, that must be true; I haven't sen it offered for PC's anywhere. I often configure Machine at site's like Dell, Alienware, Voodoo, etc; and none have offered the 3 GHz chip.

Impressive coup for The Apple!! Perhaps when Apple moved to Intel, they got an AWESOME deal that give them first crack at new technology?
