HD DVD Players Outsell Blu-Ray Players
Well this is an interesting turn of events.
It looks like HD DVD players out sold Blu-Ray players starting in mid-September by taking 53% of the market, while Blu-Ray took 44%, and dual formats picked up 3%. This of course doesn't include the PS3's which have a huge lead on both stand alone formats. Although there is not a clear reason why HD DVD took a jump, I suspect that the upcoming release of the "Transformers" might have something to do with it.
